First Term 2019-Ready, set, GO!!
The long school holiday has finally come to a close. The children have been reporting back to their various schools and are ready to get after it this year! We had 10 Primary Seven graduates who are starting their first year in Senior school. Many of whom will be attending school at Seroma Secondary, a top ranked school. They couldn’t be more excited! Our 6 Senior 4 graduates have moved on from O level to A level and are ready to hit it hard. All are moving on to new schools as well as preparing to finish their final two years of secondary school before heading off to trade school or University.
Love Home
Even though the children at Hope Home (for boys) and Peace Home (for girls) have headed back to their boarding schools for the term, the children at Love Home (for our youngest) are still home and playing as hard as ever. They’re off to school during the day, but home in the afternoons. Now that the caretakers from other homes are not quite as busy, there are lots and lots of hands on deck at Love Home. Fun for everyone!
Ways to Get Involved
Sponsors needed
Sylvia Longoli
We are looking for one $165/month sponsor (or TWO $85/month sponsors) for Sylvia
Charlie (AHU Program)
Charles is talented in dance, acting, and more, but his future aspirations lie in the field of videography, photography and motion graphics. He is taking a two year certificate program in photography, videography, 3D Animation and Motion Graphics. Due to the cost, few people can take this course and so he will be well placed for work once he’s done.
As part of our program, Charles will work closely with us to benefit the PFP children. Not only is he participating in teaching the dance and fitness classes each week with the children, he is also going to do some photography and videography for PFP. Our very own photographer/videographer!!! So great!!
We are looking for one more partner at $70/month to help Charles. He’ll do all the hard work. He just needs a little hand up!
Please contact us if you have any questions regarding any of these opportunities. hope@peaceforpaulfoundation.org
The PFP Junior Program
We have launched a Student Sponsor Drive to get more children into school through the Juniors Program! They are all hard working and well deserving children in need of an education, who also have a loving family to care for them, but poverty is preventing their ongoing education. If you or someone you know could help us get these children in school, we would love to hear from you! This sponsorship provides school fees, supplies, lunches as well as many community handouts of school supplies to additional local students who often lack even the basics of pencils and paper to study. Sponsorship is only $35/month! Please contact hope@peaceforpaulfoundation.org to get involved!
“All kids need is a little help, a little hope and someone who believes in them.”
Family Sponsorship Opportunities
We are always looking for general sponsors to help cover the extra costs associated with keeping The Peace for Paul Foundation operating smoothly and the children happy and healthy. Essentially, as a general family sponsor, you are the sponsor of ALL of the children. We have opportunities for Medical Family Sponsor, Dental Family Sponsor as well as Mental Health Family Sponsor. A Family Sponsor commitment can be – $25/$50/$100 per month.
Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this opportunity. hope@peaceforpaulfoundation.org

Nile River Farms
Pigs are thriving! After another mama gave birth to seven piglets this month, we now have 31 piglets on the farm! We will be expanding the piggery and growing the current piglets until they can be sold. The hope is that we will be able to scale up this business model and start using profits to partially fund the organization’s operations.
Transition age students continue to gain work experience on the farm and this holiday have been working on construction of a security house. They also continue to harvest crops and weed the farm.
