Samuel’s Story
Samuel lives with his mother and father as well as his two siblings. His father Bosco, works as a security guard for the Peace for Paul Foundation. Education is expensive in Uganda, and as the family is on a single parent income, there is not enough left over to pay school fees in addition to being able to meet all of the family’s basic needs. Samuel had some health complications in 2019, and the family is paying back the loans taken out to cater for the medical bills. Any extra money that would be used for school fees, is now being used to clear medical bills and Samuel has been seated at home, hopeful for a chance to return to school.
Through the PFP Junior scholarship program, Samuel will receive the financial assistance he needs to finish school and reach all of his dreams. His father will work hand in hand with PFP to ensure Samuel receives the financial, physical and emotional support he will need to thrive.
