Elvis’ Story
“I live with my mom, dad and six sibling and I am the second born. My dad is a casual laborer in a farm and mom does odd jobs like digging and tilling people’s gardens in exchange for food or a little money. This helps her feed us but is never enough to support our education. This means that I am left with little hope of continuing or ever completing my education but I still dream of becoming a lawyer someday”.
Now a part of the PFP Juniors program, Elvis attends a highly ranked primary school and has big dreams to become a lawyer someday so he can “learn how to study”. While PFP supports him with education and medical expenses, Elvis continues to live with his mom and dad, who he loves very much. His parents work hand in hand with PFP and are proud to play a role in supporting Elvis in being able to attend school.
