Faima’s Story
Faima’s father abandoned the family when she was just a baby and Faima now lives with her mother and two siblings, Muzeyi and Maryanne. Faima’s mother has no formal education and had not been able to obtain reliable employment until she started as a part time nanny with the Peace for Paul Foundation. Her employment with PFP has enabled her to provide the basic necessities for herself and her children, but a quality education for Faima was still beyond reach.
Now a part of the PFP Juniors program, Faima attends a highly ranked secondary school and has big dreams to become a lawyer someday. While PFP supports her with education and medical expenses, Faima continues to live with her mom and siblings, who she loves very much. Her mom works hand in hand with PFP and is proud to play a role in supporting Faima in being able to attend school.
