    Prossy’s Story

“I have lived with my jaja (grandmother) since I was a toddler as both parents died before I can remember.  Jaja sells tomatoes in the village door to door in a small basket she carries on her head.  During school holidays I also help her carry them and we sell together but we make only a little money and this is all we have for living.  School fees are high and when we don’t earn enough I am not able to attend school. I want to study so someday I can be a traffic officer because they are so smart in their white uniforms”.

Now a part of the PFP Juniors program, Prossy attends a highly ranked primary school and has big dreams to become a police officer someday. While PFP supports her with education and medical expenses, Prossy continues to live with her grandmother, who she loves very much. Her grandmother works hand in hand with PFP and is proud to play a role in supporting Prossy in being able to attend school regularly.
