Kato’s Story
Kato’s mother and father both passed away when Kato and his twin brother Waiswa were only two years old. Since then, they have been living with their Aunt Sarah and Uncle John. Aunt Sarah is ill and bed ridden and Uncle John works when he can but does not have a permanent job or reliable income. With a sick wife, most of their money goes to medical treatment, rent and food. Kato’s Uncle John would love to see these brothers attend school so they can achieve their dreams someday.
Now a part of the PFP Juniors program, Kato attends a highly ranked primary school and has big dreams to become an pilot someday. While PFP supports him with education and medical expenses, Kato continues to live with his twin brother and his aunt and uncle, who he loves very much. His uncle John works hand in hand with PFP and is proud to play a role in supporting Kato in being able to attend school.
