Esther’s Story
“My mother died in a house fire when I was a baby and since then my grandmother Rose has taken care of me in the village. Because my grandmother is old and struggles to work, we don’t have much money and school fees are too much to afford”. I would love to study with all the other kids and then when I grow up I can be a nurse to treat sick people and make them better”.
Now a part of the PFP Juniors program, Malingati attends a highly ranked primary school. She has big dreams to become a nurse someday so she can “treat people and make them better”. While PFP supports her with education and medical expenses, Malingati continues to live with her grandmother, who she loves very much. Her grandma works hand in hand with PFP and is proud to play a role in supporting Malingati in being able to attend school.
