    Esther’s Story

“My mother passed away when I was three years old and my father passed away when I was six years old. I now stay with my elderly aunt and her two children.  She sells some small fish to make an income but as a single mother it is not enough to provide for us all.  I would love to be able to attend school regularly.  I want to learn and succeed in life.  If I can study, I would like to be a nurse and help others who are ill”.

Now a part of the PFP Juniors program, Esther attends a highly ranked primary school and has big dreams to become a nurse someday.  While PFP supports her with education and medical expenses, Karen continues to live with her aunt, who she loves very much. Her auntie works hand in hand with PFP and is proud to play a role in supporting Esther in being able to attend school.
