    Rahim’s Story

Rahim’s mother died hewas three months old so he has no recollection of her. He now lives with his aunt Amina, whom he calls mom as she is the only mother he has ever known. His dad is believed to be alive but has never been a part of Rahim’s life.  Amina cares for four children in a small one-room mud hut and earns about a dollar a day by doing small odd jobs for neighbors.  The family struggles for survival and school fees had always been beyond reach for the children.

Now a part of the PFP Juniors program, Rahim attends a highly ranked primary school and has big dreams to become an engineer someday. While PFP supports him with education and medical expenses, Rahim continues to live with his auntie and siblings, who he loves very much. His mother works hand in hand with PFP and is proud to play a role in supporting Rahim in being able to attend school regularly.
