Enoch’s Story
Enoch’s father has been very ill with HIV/AIDS for many years. He has now returned to the village he came from so he could rest and pass away peacefully there. Enoch’s mother is now alone and struggling to care for him. She is a tomato vendor and owns a small kiosk for tomatoes and other vegetables. She does what she can to support the family of four children but money is always tight and Enoch’s education has not been stable as a result. Enochs mom is a determined lady who works hard and wants to see that Enoch gets an education.
Now a part of the PFP Juniors program, Enoch attends a highly ranked primary school and has big dreams to become a doctor someday. While PFP supports Enoch with education and medical expenses, he continues to live with his mother, who he loves very much.
