    Samson’s Story

“My father passed away in 2015 when I was still young.  After this, my mother left and was married to another person and I have not seen her since. My jaja (grandmother) has been helping me with food, clothing and some school fees.  She is an elderly woman at 86 years old, but she still works to support us.  She has a small bar and sells local homemade beer made from sorghum and maize flour.  The money she gets from this is something but not enough to support us and never enough to pay all of my school fees.  I dream of becoming a lawyer someday so I can keep order and make enough to help my Jaja”.

Now a part of the PFP Juniors program, Samson attends a highly ranked primary school.  While PFP supports Samson with education and medical costs, he continues to live with his grandmother and loves her so much.
