March 2019
Back to School
All PFP students have now reported back to school. It was a LONG holiday for some, but everyone is excited to start the 2019 year!
Love Home
The children in day school at Love Home are rowdy and fun as ever! They know how to keep our staff busy, even when most other PFP students are away at boarding school for the term.
Solar Power
Love Home now has solar power! In our efforts to become more self sustaining from within Uganda, Love Home has had solar power installed. No more power bills (or outtages) for this family!
Ways to Get Involved
Sponsors needed
Click the photos of the children below to learn more about them! If you are interested in becoming involved with PFP through a sponsorship, please send an email to: hope@peaceforpaulfoundation.org
Sylvia Longoli
We are looking for one $165/month sponsor (or TWO $85/month sponsors) for Sylvia
Charlie (AHU Program)
We are looking for one more partner at $70/month to help Charles.
Please contact us if you have any questions regarding any of these opportunities. hope@peaceforpaulfoundation.org
The PFP Junior Program
A big thanks to all the wonderful people who came forward to sponsor a Juniors child in February! We were able to reach our goal and bring in twelve new children to the program. This brings us to a total of 60 students in our community who are receiving educational scholarships. Without this support, they would not be able to attend school simply because of poverty.
All children are currently fully sponsored but the need for educational support is endless. If you are interested in sponsoring a Juniors student which includes school fees, school lunch, uniforms, supplies and additional community school outreach, we would be happy to connect you with a child in need. At $35/month, you can make a Ugandan child’s dream of simply going to school a reality!
Family Sponsorship Opportunities
We are always looking for general sponsors to help cover the extra costs associated with keeping The Peace for Paul Foundation operating smoothly and the children happy and healthy. Essentially, as a general family sponsor, you are the sponsor of ALL of the children. We have opportunities for Medical Family Sponsor, Dental Family Sponsor as well as Mental Health Family Sponsor. A Family Sponsor commitment can be – $25/$50/$100 per month.
Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this opportunity. hope@peaceforpaulfoundation.org

Nile River Farms
Yet another mama has given birth and now we have 37 piglets on the farm! 5 of 6 sows are producing piglets. We will be expanding the piggery and growing the current piglets until they can be sold. The hope is that we will be able to scale up this business model and start using profits to partially fund the organization’s operations.
Bulungi Beads
Bulungi Beads (BB) is another way PFP is helping the community. We partner with moms in a local village who handmake all of the jewelry and bags out of paper beads. We purchase the beads from them and showcase these items in our Etsy Shop. Some of the girls in the PFP main program also help to handroll the beads. Click here to view the shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/BulungiBeads
Fast Facts:
3 children started full time boarding school as a result of BB sales in 2018.
2 young ladies from the PFP main program are now interns with BB and are learning all about the bead making business.
1 person really can make a difference! We are looking for new people to join our team in the USA and Canada. Let us know if this could be you!
