In most cases, when a child enters into our main program, it is because they no longer have living parents. Sadly, many are not wanted or would simply not be safe at home with living relatives.
However, when possible, we work with families to resettle children who may thrive with a little bit of help. We provide education to relatives, and provide the children with education and basic necessities. This takes the financial burden of caring for a child off of the relatives shoulders and allows them to provide the most important thing–love, support and FAMILY. Our social worker makes routine visits to ensure the safety and well being of the child that has been resettled.
